Description

An incredibly detailed and fine watercolour painting of Brighton’s old West Pier by the listed artist Dennis Roxby-Bott. The complicated layout of the old pier is detailed magnificently in this wonderful picture. Mr Roxby-Bott has an intricately deft way of painting this level of detail. Every stantion, cross beam and strut is drawn with incredible accuracy, without over burdening the painting with too much detail and the way the colour is added only adds to the depth of the vision. The picture comes framed, mounted and glazed. The frame measures 68 x 57 cm with the painting itself measuring 45 x 35 cm.

Dennis Roxby-Bott RWS. British born in London in 1948 he went to The Colchester School of Art and later The Norwich School of Art where he studied Fine Art painting. He was elected as a full member of The Royal Watercolour Society in 1983.
