Description
A large oil on canvas of a shepherd tending his sheep on a path near a lake in hilly countryside by P Wilson. The painting is of a lovely landscape, which evokes a certain feeling of peacefulness or calmness. The artist has done a great job of capturing the fluffy white clouds in a beautiful blue sky with the surrounding countryside adding to the feel of wide open space that make one at ease. The painting is signed to the bottom right and is framed in a gilded wood frame which measures 107 x 77 cm (42″ x 30″). The painting itself measures 90 x 60 cm (35.5″ x 24″).
