A lovely little watercolour of Fingle Bridge in Dartmoor by renowned Cornish artist Frederick Parr. This is a classical view of a well known tourist spot in Devon. The hills in the distance tower over the little old stone bridge over the River Teign that is the gateway to Fingle Woods and Castle Drogo. The painting is mounted, framed and glazed. The frame measures 37 x 32 cm. The painting measures 22 x 18 cm.

Frederick Parr British 1887 – 1970. Full name Frederick Beni Cornish Parr was born in Exeter, fought in the first World War and really concentrated on his painting in the 1920’s and 30’s. Due to contractual commitments he also painted under his pseudonym of F. Beni.
