Description

A simply beautiful painting by one of the foremost Devonshire painters of his age at the top if his game. This view is a beach scene of Perranporth in North Cornwall, looking out towards Chapel Rock and showing the archway in the rocks that people walk through.  A few seagulls drift on the wind just near the shoreline, the waves looking small but capped with white horses. The painting is framed in a decorative gesso frame and glazed. The frame measures 46 x 33 cm (18″ x 13″) and the picture itself is 37 x 24 cm (14.5″ x 9.5″).
