Description
This is a simply stunning harbour scene at a very attractive price. It is well painted with a vibrancy about the setting. It is a colourful depiction of a working harbour with a group of fisherman fixing their nets in the left foreground and boats of all sizes moored behind them in the port. The picture is mounted, glazed and framed in a gesso style gilded frame which measures 49 x 42 cm (19″ x 16.5″), with the picture itself measuring 36 x 27 cm (14″ x 10.5″). It is signed and dated 1967.
